Stonewall Pride & Proud Mini-Ball

Are you ready to have a ball, Peoria? Central Illinois Friends is partnering with the Legendary International Father AJ Ninja to bring the ball back to Peoria for the 4th year in a row.
In the tradition of the movie ‘Paris is Burning’ ballroom is a black, queer performance art where contestants walk a variety of different categories and create an extreme performance of gender presentation.
We invite people of all ages, abilities, and presentations to come out, and walk any of our 7 Open to All categories:
- OTA Vogue Fem Performance ($150) – In the tradition of the “Snatch Game” come in your best imitation of your favorite celebrity idols. No one should have to guess who you are. For a video example of Vogue Fem Performance click here.
- OTA Runway ($300) – Just like there’s as many gayz in the world as colors in the rainbow come in your best rainbow colors ‘camp’ drag couture. For a video example of Runway click here.
- OTA Up in Pumps ($150) – It’s not my fault mother, I can walk better in your shoes! Come in your best rainbow pumps to stomp the runway down. For a video example of Up in Pumps click here.
- OTA Sex Siren ($150) – You’ve just escaped the drags dressing room. Come to the stage and show us all the damage you caused, colorful kisses, make-up, and all. For a video example of Sex Siren click here. (Please be mindful, due to the nature of this category this video does feature revealing outfits.)
- OTA Bizarre Bazaar ($300) – You’re what society fears, but take that negative and turn it into a positive. Give your best spooky drag look of a lifetime. For a video example of Bizarre Bazaar click here.
- OTA Best Dress ($150) – So what that I’m that I’m a pageant gurl, I cam here to win! Come in your best pageant attire. For a video example of Best Dress click here.
