At FRIENDS we believe that providing comprehensive care means seeing the whole person. We partner with providers and organizations across Illinois to expand the services we are able to offer our clients and continue to provide them with the high standard of care they’re used to.
Transitional Psychiatry
Through a partnership with UICOMP, Central Illinois FRIENDS is able to offer transitional psychiatric care with Dr. Thomas Boyd. Telehealth options are available by request, however, we do request initial intake be done in-person.
Gynecological Healthcare
The folks at Family Planning provide confidential, low-cost, preventative health care to all to help with sexual and reproductive care needs. Family Planning offers the following services at our Glen Oak offices:
· Pap Smears · Testing also available for:
· Breast/Chest Exams – Yeast Infections
· Birth Control Options – Bacterial Vaginosis (BV)
– Daily Hormonal Pill – Pregnancy
– IUD (Copper/Hormonal) – Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)
– Vaginal Ring
– Depo Shot
– Nexplanon Implant
· Other general gynecological exams
General Health Visits
Through a partnership with UICOMP we are able to offer twice monthly generalized health visits. General Health Visits are NOT meant to replace a regular Primary Care Physician, and are conducted by residents
